I have a new (3.5 months) iMac . Can I purchase “apple care” and get the extra ram?.
thanks Mike
I’m sorry Mike, you can still buy AppleCare, but your purchase is beyond our 14 day price protection period.
.. I upgraded my imac and mac mini for $100.00 using Crucial memory. They have a memory advisor, you get the perfect memory chips for your mac. It sounds like a good deal, but it might help sell a pro, mini, imac or 2 or 3.. but the $200 figure is a stretch.
The $200+ figure is based on buying the Mac plus more RAM from “other folks”.
